Introduction
As we age, of course we start to look older; this is just part of the cycle of life. However, the good news is that there are lots of steps that you can take to help you look younger than your years. We have researched 99 ideas for you to consider; many of these are backed by science.
This is really about you looking as good as you possibly can for your age. The truth is that the healthier you are both physically and emotionally, the slower you age and so you’ll find that many of our suggestions will also improve your overall health and wellbeing.
#1 Use Tretinoin, a Retinoid, Vitamin A cream
Tretinoin is a medication developed to treat acne. It was discovered over time that it also had the effect of rejuvenating skin. There are plenty of studies that backup the effectiveness of Tretinoin.
If you use this cream consistently over time, it really will make a difference to how your skin ages. It is generally prescription only, although there are countries like Spain where is available over the counter.
To get more information, read our article: “Can Using Tretinoin Give You Younger Looking Skin?”
#2 Use an SPF daily
At this point, you probably are aware that wearing sun protection factor is important but we would stress that it should be worn all year round and, in the summer, try to keep your face, neck and decolletage out of the direct sun as much as possible.
The research clearly shows that photo-damage is one of the main causes of aging and even if you haven’t been great about wearing SPF in the past, it is never too late to start. There are ways to reverse some of the damage caused by the sun such as laser treatment and chemical peels.
To get more information, read our article: “7 Things You Absolutely Must Know About Using Sun Protection (SPF)”
#3 Get a good night’s sleep
Adequate sleep is important for aging because this is when our cells rest and recuperate. Consistent lack of sleep can accelerate the aging process. Unfortunately, main of us struggle with sleep; either with falling asleep or with waking up too early.
There are steps we can take such taking melatonin supplements, using breathing, using blue light blocking glasses in the evening and cutting out screen time in the hour before bed. The temperature of your room is also very important.
To get more information, read our article: “Sleep Soundly, Age Gracefully: The Role of Melatonin in Healthy Aging”
#4 Use an LED Red Light Mask
At this point, nobody is disputing that red light therapy works. There are a ton of studies to back it up, and so many companies producing red light products. If we are totally honest, we prefer red light panels over masks because these can be targeted at different areas of the body, and they tend to have stronger lights.
Red light therapy works for skin regeneration but also helps with pain, energy levels and so much more.
To get more information, read our article: “LED Masks: a Ridiculously Easy Way to Look Younger?”
#5 Take Collagen supplements
Collagen supplementation has become very popular in recent years. The marketing will promise improvements in skin, nails and hair but the research is a little bit less convincing. However, there are studies showing that collagen supplements can lead to improvements in skin quality so it might be one you want to consider.
Our preference for obtaining collagen is bone broth, which is cheap and easy to make. You take some bones, like the carcass of a chicken, add some apple cider vinegar and some veg, and slow cook for 24 hours.
To get more information, read our article: “Are Collagen Supplements a Magical Elixir for Youth?”
#6 Try Dermaplaning
We love this one because we think that it can make you instantly look better. Your skin will have more of a glow and your makeup will sit better when you remove the downy hair from your face. And no need to worry, the hair does not grow back thicker. Dermaplaning has the added benefit of having an exfoliation effect.
To get more information, read our article: “Dermaplaning: is it true that it gives you the smooth base you need to achieve flawless makeup?”
#7 Have a go at Microneedling
You can do this yourself if your are brave or you can have it done in a salon. The trick is to do it consistently. It certainly has beneficial effects but it has the downside of being painful and there is a recovery period of generally about 24 hours for the redness to go away – and you can have some skin flaking a few days later.
We’ve seen microneedling used in all parts of the body to tighten up skin, including the belly and the batwing area of the arms.
To get more information, read our article: “The Ultimate List of Microneedling Do’s and Don’ts”
#8 Check out Intermittent Fasting
There has been a lot of talk about intermittent fasting in the last few years. The alleged benefits are weight loss and autophagy, where you body can devote its energy to cellular regeneration rather than constantly processing food.
While the jury may be out on the effectiveness of intermittent fasting, we know that a lot of women have found that having cut off points for when they stop and start eating each day has helped them greatly manage their caloric intake.
Unfortunately, middle aged spread is aging and anything we can do to maintain a slim, toned body will help us to look younger.
To get more information, read our article: “The secrets of Intermittent Fasting and how to make it work for you”
#9 Wear silicone wrinkle removal patches at night
We love these products because we believe that, with consistent use, they work. We like them especially for the under-eye area; sleeping on your side can cause vertical lines to appear on the skin under your eyes but if you use a product like a silicone wrinkle patch or a tape, such as silicone scar tape, it can stop these lines appearing.
We all know that Botox can eliminate lines on your forehead but lines under your eyes are harder to manage, and we think this could be a good solution.
To get more information, read our article: “Silicone Wrinkle Removal Patches: what if you could see your fine lines disappear overnight?”
#10 Get a prescription for hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
We are big fans of HRT, but this is a controversial topic, and you need to do your own research to reach your own conclusion. Our view is that the research is more and more showing long term benefits for women opting to use HRT.
We would advocate for starting early with oestrogen replacement because, as your oestrogen levels decline, your skin and hair will suffer. There are hundreds of symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, and we are only focusing on the beauty aspects for the purposes of this article.
To get more information, read our article: “Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) – impact on your skin, hair and energy levels”
CeraVe Vitamin C Serum
- ANTIOXIDANT BENEFITS Formulated with 10 percent lascorbic acid the purest form of vitamin C to help ighten the complexion and promote more even skin tone. Protective packaging helps prevent oxidation and maintain product performance.
- HYDRATING SERUM Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to help improve skin tone texture and hydration for a healthy looking radiant complexion.
#11 Include Vitamin C Serum in your skincare routine
There seems to be a good body of research to suggest that Vitamin C Serum as a stand-alone product or as an ingredient in skincare products can have beneficial effects for your skin. What we like about this option is that it is evidence-based, and it is also quite inexpensive.
We would encourage you to do your research on any product you are thinking of buying and keep in mind that pure Vitamin C serum is usually kept in a dark glass bottle and should be stored away from light.
To get more information, read our article: “Vitamin C – why you really need it to slow down skin aging!”
#12 Be careful of fillers
In the spirit of full disclosure, we don’t like filler because we have seen it ruin too many beautiful faces. We keep hearing that if you use a skilled injector that you will be fine – but, let’s face it, all of the Hollywood stars who have been overfilled are of course using the best doctors or aestheticians.
So, you can definitely get good short-term results with filler but do be careful with long-term use as it is easy not to notice that the natural proportions of your face are becoming distorted or that the filler is migrating to other areas, such as lip filler migrating into your philtrum area.
To get more information, read our article: “Dermal Fillers: 10 Things You Need to Know About Fillers”
#13 Consider using a Radiofrequency Device
These devices can be used in a salon, or you can buy your own device and use it at home. The idea is that the waves emitted cause your skin to heat up and generate new collagen, and this process seems to be backed up by scientific studies. It is somewhat controversial because it may cause loss of fat, so some prefer to use radiofrequency in areas where you don’t want fat, like your jowls and the double chin area. The alleged benefits are a reduction in wrinkles and a tightening of the skin.
To get more information, read our article: “Can radiofrequency skin tightening give you a more youthful look?”
#14 Eat dark chocolate
Recently, research showed that consuming dark chocolate as a drink twice a day increased the number of stem cells in circulation in your body. This means that your cells have a stronger ability to repair themselves and this could aid in keeping you looking and feeling younger.
We love 85% dark chocolate, but we believe that you can get the benefits from 70% upwards. We suggest you use a good quality brand. Our little trick is to eat the chocolate but have it with hot tea and let the chocolate melt in your mouth – so you get the effect of a chocolate drink without having to go to the bother of making a hot chocolate.
To get more information, read our article: “Cacao & Cocoa, what is the difference and are they anti-aging?”
#15 Use a Microcurrent device when watching TV
These are a popular device that can be inexpensive, although some of the more popular brands charge quite a lot. They are based on a very small amount of electricity passing into your skin. You use the device along with a conductive gel and the idea is that the charge stimulates the mitochondria of your cells, leading to better quality skin.
There seems to be plenty of evidence to back up the claims of this technology and it’s easy to use a couple of times a week while you watch TV, so why not give it a go!
To get more information, read our article: “What is a microcurrent facial and can it improve your cheekbones?“
#16 Use Botox in a healthy way
Botox undoubtedly helps fade and eliminate lines, but you do need to be careful: it can have negative side effects and you don’t want to end up looking too botoxed. A happy medium might be to get the injections every 6 to 7 months, instead of the recommended every 3 months, because you can end up with long-term muscle wastage in your forehead and other areas if you are getting Botox there all the time. After all, the muscles in your face are holding your face together and you want to make sure that they are reasonably healthy.
To get more information, read our article: “10 things you must know to decide whether Botox is right for you”
#17 Give yourself a facial massage
We believe that anything you do to massage your face, whether it’s with your hands, a Gua Sha or another facial device, that causes increase blood flow to the skin and underlying tissues, is beneficial. There are some very nice massage techniques available through YouTube videos.
All you need is something to tie your hair back and a massage oil, like Bio Oil. We are firm believers that women who consistently use techniques like massage, Gua Sha and facial exercise have better quality skin and less deep lines in their face.
To get more information, read our article: “Facial massage: could this be the answer to your anti-aging prayers?”
#18 Take care of your emotional health
There is a theory that chronic negative emotions such as anger, resentment and loneliness take their toll on your body and start to show on your face. While there isn’t specific evidence to back this up, we believe that it is likely to be true, based on our own observations.
We all experience daily feelings of negativity but, if you find that you feel certain emotions strongly and frequently, it might be time to look at how this can be addressed.
To get more information, read our article: “Can your emotional health cause you to age faster?”
#19 Take supplements – Vitamin K2
The premise of taking Vitamin K2 to prevent aging is that part of what makes you look old is that we lose bone density over the years. Our face actually loses volume to some extent because the underlying bone structure becomes eroded over time. Apparently, Vitamin K2 can help to address this.
There is a lot of talk about how the Japanese consume a lot of a product called Natto, containing high levels of Vitamin K2, and how they have a longer than average life expectancy. You can get a really good supplement that includes Vitamin D, Vitamin K2 and Magnesium, all of which we generally need to top up, so it’s well worth doing your research on this topic.
To get more information, read our article: “Vitamin K2: could it cause your face to look younger?”
#20 Walk every day
There seems to be a strong correlation between walking and longevity. There are many mental and physical benefits that come with walking, including keeping our fitness levels high, managing our weight, maintaining our muscles and bones, and the mental benefit of unwinding.
Walking can be a very pleasurable activity that we share with others in a social way or do by ourselves for some ‘me-time’. Staying fit and maintaining our muscle mass is very important for helping us to stay youthful so walking regularly is well worth considering.
To get more information, read our article: “Walking: can it contribute to greater life expectancy?”

#21 Incorporate face yoga into your self-care routine
Face yoga really is just face exercises – and it works. Your face is made up of muscles so keeping these toned makes a big difference. The problem with face yoga is that it takes effort and has to be done consistently! There are lots of apps and YouTube videos that will give you different routines to target the various areas of your face and neck.
To get more information, read our article: “Face yoga: can it shorten your philtrum and make you look younger?”
#22 Look into whether chemical peels are for you
Chemical peels can give good results, but we don’t love them because there can be a recovery period of quite a few days where your skin feels tight and starts to flake. They can really help with sun damage, and it is usually advised to have at least three done to see best results.
For a strong peel like TCA, we would not recommend doing this yourself as you can burn yourself and leave a scar – but many lighter peels can be done at home.
To get more information, read our article: “TCA or glycolic acid peels – stop your hands giving away your true age!”
#23 Rub Rosemary Oil on to your lashes and brows
There seems to be some research to support Rosemary Oil being effective for stimulating hair growth and it can be used on eyebrows and eye lashes. Having fuller, thicker brows and lashes can really contribute to a more youthful appearance. It might not work for everyone, but Rosemary oil is inexpensive and it’s well worth a try!
To get more information, read our article: “The Miracle of Rosemary Oil for Thicker, Fuller Eyebrows and Lashes”
#24 Consider Sculptra injections
This is a salon-based treatment and is injectable. It works by stimulating your body to build collagen in areas where you have experienced fat loss. It gets mixed reviews and is expensive so do your research before you go for Sculptra treatment.
To get more information, read our article: “Sculptra Injections: The Anti-Aging Solution for Women Over 40”
#25 Use a good hair conditioner
As we get older, our hair becomes wiry and thick, whereas young hair looks fine and sleek. By using a good quality conditioner and a straightening iron, we can achieve a more youthful look. It is important to remember that there are many signs of aging, and our hair is a big one – and it’s not just the greys. There are a lot of products that can be applied to your hair during the washing process, before drying and after drying that can really improve how your hair looks.
- 100% Pure & Natural Essential Oil
- Nutritious & Non-Greasy
- Nourishes & Fuller Hair, Repair Dry Hair
- Promotes Hair Growth, suitable For All Hair
- Aromatherapy, Physiotherapy, Skin Care
- Safe And Effective,Non-Cruelty, Preservative-Free
#26 Go for a tanned look
Having a tan can help you to look more youthful. We would generally recommend using fake tan and our preference would be for a gradual tanning lotion: a moisturiser with light amounts of added tanning lotion. It needs to be applied carefully and you do need to exfoliate because it tends to be more visible on harder, thicker skin such as your knees.
To get more information, read our article: “Top #5 ways to achieve the perfect summer glow with radiant skin”
#27 Talk to your doctor about Ozempic
This is a very controversial topic and one you have to form your own opinion on. If you are overweight and nothing that you have tried before makes a difference in the long run, then Ozempic might be for you.
You certainly will have a more youthful appearance if you are slimmer, and it will improve many of your health indicators. However, as we have all heard, you need to be careful of your face and many people on these medications experience fat and muscle loss in their cheeks, which can actually be aging.
We would advise going to a well experienced doctor and taking a balanced approach. When you are older, extreme weight loss is not a good look as you need a little bit of fat around your face to hold onto a younger appearance.
To get more information, read our article: “#Ozempic is trending now – but should it be part of your weight loss journey?”
#28 Be creative with your eyebrows
Eyebrows can really give your age away as they tend to thin out as we get older. We can try to revive them with certain products, but it can be virtually impossible to grow them back. We recommend semi-permanent tattooing, which is generally done using two different techniques; microblading, tattooing each hair, or powder brow, a light colour.
Please be careful with tattooing – you need to choose an artist who is very experienced and whose work you have seen and liked. Also, the tattoo needs to be semi-permanent, not permanent. There tattoos can give the impression of a much fuller brow, which will help you look younger.
To get more information, read our article: “Our top 5 tips for youthful eyebrows”
#29 Set goals for your future
You might wonder how this one could possibly help you look younger. As we get older, we don’t tend to be as goal focused and life can slip into being quite mundane. We would say that you should always have goals that you are working on and that this process will keep you feeling invigorated and engaged with life.
Examples might be travelling to somewhere exciting that you haven’t been before, training for a marathon or learning a new skill that you would really like to acquire.
To get more information, read our article: “How setting goals can help you live longer and look younger!”
#30 Have a baby
Nowadays, it is actually possible to have a baby in your early 50s. You would have to use your own previously frozen eggs or donor eggs. There are studies that show a correlation between living longer and having your last child over 40. This may be linked to the idea that, if a woman can conceive naturally at a later age and have a healthy baby, then she is aging at a slower pace.
There is also a theory that the baby shares stem cells with the mother, which can help her heal and repair. We would also speculate that having children later in life keeps you young and gives you an incentive to be as healthy as you can be.
To get more information, read our article: “The Pros and Cons of Women Having Babies in Their 50s”
#31 Reduce your alcohol intake
Unfortunately, alcohol consumption has been shown to be very harmful to your health and our average intake has grown in the last few decades. Drinking on a regular basis can be very draining for your body and can start to show in your face. It’s also linked with breast cancer and other diseases. We’re not anti-alcohol at all but we would encourage you to be very mindful of how much you are drinking.
To get more information, read our article: “A Sobering Truth: Alcohol’s Role in Stealing Your Skin’s Youthfulness”
#32 Use a Gua Sha as part of your face massage routine
The jury is out on the effectiveness of this technique in that there isn’t evidence to support it. However, we believe in it because some of the Seeoran team members use Gua Sha in their face & neck routines, and you can see that they have a more sculpted look.
The pros of Gua Sha is that it is inexpensive and it’s easy to use – there are lots of tutorials on YouTube. The con is that you need to use it consistently – at least a couple of times a week to see results.
We believe that anything you do with your face, like exercise, yoga or massage, is beneficial, and Gua Sha claims to have the added benefits of working with your lymph and muscular system to keep your face and neck in youthful condition.
To get more information, read our article: “Aging Gracefully with Gua Sha: Your Path to Timeless Beauty”
#33 Dress appropriately for your age
How you dress really makes a difference to the age that you appear to others. If you want to appear younger, it is really important to put some effort into finding a style that is fashionable and trendy but still age appropriate.
There are lots of influencers who post about this on social media so this information is free; you need to take time to review your wardrobe and maybe get advice from friends on what works for you and what doesn’t. This doesn’t have to be an expensive process as you don’t need to have lots of clothes, you just need to have a few things in your wardrobe that are flattering to your body shape and make you look like a stylish, confident woman.
To get more information, read our article: “Elevate your style game: Fashion tips for women over 40”
#34 Use Mediterranean diet recipe ideas
A study published in 2023, which was conducted over a 36 year period, listed the Mediterranean Diet as one of four diets that contributed to greater longevity. It is a diet based mainly on whole foods including fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains and healthy fats.
Eating a diet like this reduces inflammation in your body and slows the aging process. Basically, anything you can do to stay away from ultra-processed foods and eat more cleanly is going to help your body look and feel better.
To get more information, read our article: “Living Better and Longer: The Science Behind Blue Zone Lifestyles”
#35 Eat anti-aging foods: Berries
We’ve all heard that berries are good for us, and the science does support this assertion. According to a consumer report, those who regularly (more than 3 times a week) eat berries, have better heart health and live longer.
Regular berry consumption can also help slow cognitive decline as we age. The great thing about berries is that they actually taste very nice. A breakfast we recommend would be natural yoghurt, blueberries, a little bit of muesli and a handful of nuts & seeds.
To get more information, read our article: “Our top 5 foods anti-aging foods”
#36 Plan your retirement
We all know that stress is a contributor to aging so, if you are in a high-pressure job or a job you don’t like, why not start to plan your retirement? We believe that one of the cornerstones of staying young is feeling that you contribute to something bigger than yourself. With that in mind, you need to think of a plan that allows you to still have purpose.
If you like your job, you could go part-time and, if you don’t like your current role, you could start to retrain in something you could make a living from. If you are living in a healthy way, you should have many years of retirement so creating a plan that will allow you to flourish during this period is important.
#37 Eat more broccoli
According to a 2023 study, broccoli has several health benefits, containing nutrients that support overall health and wellness, including cancer prevention and reduced inflammation. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-cancer, and potentially antibacterial effects.
It can be lightly steamed or, better still, chop it up and include it in a salad. Even if you think that you don’t like broccoli, with the right salad dressing and some cheese, it really can be delicious. We’ve been known to include some cranberries in our broccoli salad to add some sweetness.
#38 Spend time outdoors
A 2023 study shows that spending time surrounded by nature actually slows the aging process. They found that people with lots of greenspace had longer telomeres on average – these make up the DNA in our cells and they shorten as we get older. Getting out for a walk in an area that is green and free from traffic is incredibly calming – it is beautiful to be able to observe the seasons as they unfold, and it benefits our body and mind.
#39 Choose right foundation for you
When you are older, you need to be very careful with foundation and powder because both can cause fine lines to be highlighted. It is often said that minimum coverage, like a BB cream, looks better because it doesn’t emphasise wrinkles and it can give your skin a nice glow.
There are lots of ways to keep your skin in good condition and looking youthful, including red light therapy, microcurrent, microneedling and radiofrequency devices, all of which we discuss in this article.
To get more information, read our article: “Flawless at Any Age: How to Find the Best Foundation for You”
#40 Let your hair go grey
As a general guide, you will look younger if you dye your hair. You need to be careful about the colour you choose; as you get older, a lighter tone can work better and be more flattering to your skin and face. However, lots of women look great when they let their hair go grey so it’s a choice you have to make – there is no right or wrong option.
To get more information, read our article: “Should I dye my hair or let it go grey? Let’s explore how you can make your choice…”
#41 Incorporate Feng Shui in your home
We think the idea behind this is that, if your environment is well organised, clutter free and nicely designed, you will feel happier and less stressed. It really is a good idea to de-clutter and tidy up your space on a regular basis.
We would also recommend making sure your home is freshly painted and nicely decorated. This can be time consuming but there are ways to do this that are cost effective; for example, buying furniture in second hand stores and repainting or recovering it.
To get more information, read our article: “Feng Shui: can it really improve your mood and make you healthier?”
#42 Get electrolysis or laser hair removal done
As we get older, we all know that hairs can sprout from our chin, our upper lip and other areas of our face. Laser hair removal only works on dark hair so, if you are fair or the hairs have gone grey, electrolysis may be the best route. This is an uncomfortable treatment as a needle is inserted into each hair follicle, which discharges an electrical current to kill the capillary that feeds the hair, resulting in the hair not being able to grow back. You need several electrolysis treatments, usually 15 minutes each, and you’ll need to have a couple of top up treatments each year – but it really does work.
Another option is waxing – but the disadvantage is that you have to let the hair grow back before it can be waxed again. Whatever route you decide on, you will look younger and more attractive without a bearded look!
#43 Whiten your teeth
As we age our teeth become more yellow. You’ll see lots of ads for teeth whitening but we think the most reliable method is gel whitening solution used with a fitted gum shield. The downside is that it temporarily makes your teeth more sensitive and painful. Whatever way you decide to whiten your teeth, it will contribute to looking more youthful.
#44 Get regular manicures & pedicures
Taking good care of your appearance is important, and having your finger and toe nails nicely manicured really can add to a younger more attractive look. We love long lasting manicures that involve Biab to harden your nails, and Shellac, a nail polish which doesn’t chip.
Also, a pedicure is much more that painting your nails; it often involves removing hard skin from your feet and exfoliating your lower legs. Generally, these are done in a salon but if your budget is tight, you can easily do all this yourself.
#45 Consider volunteering for a local organisation or charity
Volunteering in a local organisation or charity could help you to stay youthful by fostering social connections, providing a sense of purpose, and promoting physical activity. It keeps the mind sharp through mental engagement and reduces stress and loneliness by providing fulfilment and joy.
Regular volunteering adds structure and routine to your life. It is a very nice feeling to know that you are doing work that is providing a benefit to your community and it is an opportunity to build friendships and really make a difference in the lives of others.

#46 Stay hydrated
It goes without saying that our bodies need water and staying hydrated is always going to help you to have a more youthful glow. The trick is figuring out a system to make sure you are consuming the necessary amount of water each day. It can help to have your own water bottle which you fill up in the morning and then again at lunch time to measure how much you drink throughout the day. We’d also suggest that you use filtered water as tap water can contain added chemicals that may be best avoided.
#47 Treat age spots & hyperpigmentation
One thing that is really going to age you is age spots because generally speaking very old people have a lot of these dark spots. The best way to treat them is with laser. Red light therapy is also said to work on them over time but, if you want more immediate results, laser might be your best option.
Tretinoin is also a good option but again, it will work gradually over time. We’ve also heard that baking soda and lemon can help lighten skin, but we have no evidence to back this claim up!
#48 Quit smoking & vaping
This one is obvious but not at all easy. Many of us moved from smoking to vaping as a way to stop smoking but are now addicted to vaping. The early research on vaping is not good and it looks likely that it is just as harmful as smoking; some would argue that it is possibly worse than smoking as some vapers are constantly vaping, even indoors. If you think you can find the willpower and the support you need, you really should think about quitting – it will help you in the long run.
#49 Develop your body confidence
Feeling confident in general helps to reduce stress which we all know can accelerate the aging process. Feeling confident helps you to be more adventurous in your choice of clothes and hairstyle and have a more relaxed demeanour, all contributing to a more youthful appearance.
If you feel good about your body, you are more likely to take good care of it by exercising and eating well. Practical ways to develop better body confidence include being very intentional about speaking positively about your body; compliment your body on everything it does for you and say affirmations that make you feel good.
Practise good self-care like going to the gym, eating salad for lunch and getting a manicure every few weeks. Developing body confidence is not easy and takes a bit of effort but it is well worth it!

#50 Buy a bra that fits and makes the most of what you have
The bottom line is that you should be fitted for your bra size every few years and more often if your weight changes. A good bra can make a big difference to how you look, and you’ll want to have a few different bra types; for example, you might want one that maximises your assets when wearing a low-cut top and more comfortable ones for day to day use.
- Eva Naturals Organic Castor Oil (60ml)
- Promotes Hair, Eyebrow and Eyelash Growth
- Diminishes Wrinkles and Signs of Aging
- Hydrates and Nourishes Skin
- 100% Pure
- Cold Pressed, Premium Quality
#51 Consider face & neck surgery
Many, many people are going to Turkey and the Czech Republic for facelifts; generally, lower facelift, neck lift and upper blepharoplasty, which removes excess skin from the eyelids.
Treatments in these countries are very affordable but you need to do your research; never base any decision on before and after pictures that the clinic or surgeon post on Instagram, base your decision on real life reviews from people who have had surgery and who share their post-operative journey on TikTok and other social platforms.
This type of surgery really can give you a fresher, more youthful look – but please be very careful about how you choose the clinic and doctor.
#52 East anti-aging foods: Seaweed
Seaweed is said to have many wonderful benefits as a skincare ingredient, including being rich in antioxidants, promoting tissue regeneration and increasing skin elasticity. It is also a part of the Japanese diet, who are the longest-lived people in the world, leading scientists to believe that seaweed has properties that contribute to longevity.
The problem with seaweed is that, for us in the Western World, it can be hard to know how to incorporate it into our diets. You could try eating Sushi once a week or using Miso Soup as a snack from time to time. Places that sell Sushi often also make Seaweed Salad, which can be very tasty.
#53 Define your lashes
Never leave the house without mascara because you will always, always look better when your lashes are defined. We don’t love fake eyelashes, but you may find that they work for you.
There are oils and serums that help your lashes grow longer; do be careful about any chemical products as we have heard stories about serums which kill fat cells around your eyes, something you really don’t want. You may be best sticking with natural solutions like Rosemary Oil or Castor Oil.
#54 Stop dieting
Yo-yo dieting can create problems in the long run by resulting in decreased muscle mass and causing insulin resistance. You really want to aim for consistency in your diet. You don’t need to be super slim, especially not when you are over 50; there are benefits to a bit of extra body fat because, if you are too slim, your face will look sunken in.
What you do need is consistency in your intake of vitamins and minerals, and very restrictive diets don’t allow for that.
#55 Be careful of caffeine
A 2017 study found that telomere length decreased as caffeine consumption increased. Telomeres are the tail end of your chromosomes and longer telomeres are associated with youth.
We’re not suggesting that you don’t drink tea or coffee, but moderate intake might be best. We would also suggest being careful with Coke & Pepsi, and only ever occasionally consuming energy drinks.
#56 Cut out toxic or draining relationships
Your 50s is a time to be free to express who you are and stop caring too much about what other people think about you. This kind of freedom reduces stress and increases happiness, which can contribute to looking and feeling younger.
We suggest you spend your time with people who lift you up and inspire you, and either cut out less healthy relationships or keep them to a minimum.
#57 Adopt a pet
Having a pet can genuinely improve your health as it has been shown to have effects like decreasing blood pressure and reducing loneliness levels. Touch and physical contact are important for human beings and a pet can help with this, especially if you’re not in a sexual relationship. Having a dog has the added benefit of making you walk each day. In general, having a pet can bring more meaning and happiness into your life.
#58 Get into a sauna
There is evidence to suggest that people who use saunas regularly are less at risk from dying from cardiovascular disease or stroke. On top of that, sauna use is enjoyable and social, and it is often part of a visit to either the gym or swimming pool – so it can form part of a very healthy, regular routine. Other benefits can include weight loss, stress management, increased metabolism and better sleep, all of which will help you look and feel younger.
#59 Learn about tapping
We love tapping, which is also called Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT, because it is a way to help with emotional dysregulation. It involves sitting with the feelings you are experiencing and tapping on acupressure points. The idea is that our emotions are stored in our bodies, specifically along the energy lines called meridians in Chinese medicine.
If done regularly over time it can really help change your emotional landscape for the better, helping you to let go of repetitive emotions like impatience, rage and grief. If you’d like to try but you’re not sure where to start, take a look at this video.
#60 Get a 12 week blow dry
This is a technique that straightens your hair for a few weeks, making it look sleeker. This means that, after the treatment, you just blow dry your hair and it should look great with minimum effort. Most people get this done in a salon, but you can actually buy the solution on Amazon and do it yourself. Doing it yourself is hard work so, if you have the money, we suggest you use a salon.

#61 Look into “Mommy makeover” surgery
We are not at all advocating for surgery, but it might be an option some women would be interested in. This term covers breast augmentation and a tummy tuck.
After pregnancy and breastfeeding, many women find that their breast and tummy areas change, with boobs sagging and bellies being fatter or having loose skin. Surgery can perk up your boobs and flatten your stomach.
All surgery comes with risk, potential post-operative pain and discomfort, a recovery period, and is expensive – but, for some, this option may help you feel happier with your body and give you the confidence to wear trendier, more fitted clothes.
#62 Eat anti-aging foods: Nuts
CNN published an article in 2013 called “Eat nuts, live longer”, cites research which showed that people who ate nuts regularly were less likely to die from a range of diseases, including cancer and heart disease, and that these people tend to live longer.
Nuts are really easy to include in your diet because they are such a great snack; there are so many health food bars that contain nuts, and you can buy a bag of mixed nuts and take a handful when you feel hungry. You do need to remember that nuts are high in calories so best not to eat too many.
#63 Sleep on a silk pillow case
This one could be an easy win! The idea is that silk is smoother and softer than cotton so it doesn’t create as much friction for your skin, leading to less wrinkles. According to SleepFoundation.org, there are other benefits from using silk pillows, including that they absorb less water, allowing your skin to stay hydrated, and they feel cool, helping to regulate your temperature during the night. However, they are expensive and harder to maintain than cotton pillows.
#64 Cut out soft drinks
There is evidence to suggest that soft drinks sweetened by sugar speed up the aging process when consumed on a regular basis. You might think that you can consume as many drinks as you like that contain artificial sweeteners but, according to Healthnews, the jury is out on regular or excessive intake of sweeteners because of the effect on the gut microbiome and the potential of these increasing your appetite for sweet foods.
Our advice is not to drink soft drinks daily but to enjoy them as a treat from time to time.
#65 Spend time with friends and family
Scientists have studied the areas known as the “blue zones” to see what happens in these cultures that causes the inhabitants to live to above average age. One of the tenets is social connection, which means meaningful interactions with family, friends and others in our community. Our social circle can shrink as we get older, but we should make an effort to keep it vibrant by joining clubs and reaching out to people we have lost touch with. The bottom line is that healthy connections with others help us to live longer.
- Pure World Black Seed Oil 250ML
- High Strength Thymoquinone
- 100% Pure Virgin Cold Pressed Nigella Sativa
- Glass Bottle
- Non-GMO
#66 Use Black Seed Oil on your skin
Black seed oil, derived from the seeds of Nigella sativa, has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. When applied topically, it offers several benefits for the skin due to its rich composition of nutrients and active compounds. It promotes wound healing, regulates oil production, and provides anti-aging benefits. It is quite thick so not suitable for daytime use but can be used as part of your night time routine, especially if you are incorporating massage.
To get more information, read our article: “Black seed oil: a powerful way to revitalise skin, and even aid weight loss”
#67 Reduce your TV and screen time
Excessive screen time can contribute to eye strain, digital eye fatigue, and disrupted sleep patterns due to blue light exposure, leading to tired-looking eyes and poor sleep quality, which can accelerate aging. Prolonged screen use often leads to sedentary behaviour, which is linked to various health issues such as weight gain, cardiovascular problems, and reduced physical fitness, all of which can age the body prematurely.
Too much screen time can lead to reduced time spent on physical activities, social interactions, and hobbies that promote mental and emotional wellbeing. Like everything, you need to keep it in balance; some TV and social scrolling can help you relax but as we explain above, too much screen time is best avoided!
#68 Massage acupressure points
Massaging acupressure points on the face can make you look younger by improving blood circulation, promoting lymphatic drainage, and relaxing facial muscles, which reduces puffiness and wrinkles. It can also stimulate collagen production for firmer skin, enhancing your skin tone by aiding natural repair processes, leading to a healthier, more youthful complexion.
#69 Looks after your hands
Your hands can really give away your age so to keep them looking younger, regularly moisturise and protect them with sunscreen. We suggest you gently exfoliate weekly, use hydrating hand masks, and avoid harsh chemicals and damage by wearing gloves when doing housework or gardening.
You could use anti-aging products with ingredients like retinol and hyaluronic acid, and consider professional treatments like chemical peels or laser therapy for more significant rejuvenation, especially where you have sun damage on the backs of your hands.
#70 Laugh more often
Laughter reduces stress hormones like cortisol, which can contribute to premature aging, and boosts the release of endorphins, improving your mood and overall wellbeing. It also exercises facial muscles, which can help tone and firm the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
Laughter also strengthens your immune system, potentially improving your skin’s health and resilience. Laughter is really enjoyable but yet something we often don’t prioritise; so why not go to the comedy section of Netflix and watch your favourite sitcom or choose a podcast that makes you chuckle!
#71 Do things you enjoy on a regular basis
Engaging in activities you enjoy can significantly contribute to a youthful feeling by enhancing physical health, cognitive function, and emotional wellbeing. Physical activities improve fitness and cardiovascular health, while cognitive challenges keep the mind sharp and may delay dementia.
Social interactions from these activities prevent isolation, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment. Enjoyable pursuits reduce stress and anxiety, releasing endorphins that boost mood and reduce cortisol levels.
So, if you are not already doing things that you really enjoy on a regular basis, we’d encourage you to have a think about what it is that you might like – a sport like badminton, an activity like hill walking or a hobby like renovating old furniture.
#72 Moisturise your skin on a regular basis
Regularly moisturising your skin helps maintain a youthful appearance by keeping it hydrated, reducing dryness and fine lines, and by strengthening the skin’s natural barrier against environmental damage.
Moisturisers improve skin elasticity and texture, making it smoother and more supple, and less prone to irritation and inflammation. They often contain antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients that protect against free radicals and support skin repair and collagen production.
Regularly moisturising your face, neck, hands and body really does make a difference over time and can help you achieve a glowing, flawless look.
#73 Do some yoga
Doing yoga regularly keeps you young by enhancing physical flexibility, strength, and balance, which helps maintain mobility and reduce the risk of injuries as you age. It promotes mental wellbeing and mindfulness, lowering cortisol levels and improving mood. Yoga also supports cardiovascular health and boosts circulation.
People who do yoga often incorporate it into a healthy lifestyle in general that might involve meditation, drinking plenty of water and eating a nutritious diet, all of which together help you to look and feel more youthful.
#74 Reduce sugar intake
Lowering your sugar intake helps you look younger over time by minimising glycation, a process where sugar molecules bind to proteins like collagen and elastin, causing them to become stiff and less elastic, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Eating less sugar is good for you in many ways because our bodies thrive on a healthy, nutritious diet containing lots of whole foods, fruits and vegetables.
High amounts of refined sugar eaten on a consistent basis impacts your skin quality and can lead to diabetes and weight gain. We suggest a sensible approach – it’s very hard to cut off refined sugar altogether – we all need a treat from time to time – but try to keep it to a minimum.
#75 Drink Rooibos Tea
According to Healthline.com, there are many benefits associated with drinking rooibos tea, mainly to do with the antioxidant content, which combats free radicals and reduces oxidative stress, thereby slowing the aging process. It doesn’t contain any caffeine and it is quite a tasty tea, so why not incorporate it into your daily routine!

#76 Use skincare products that contain Copper Peptides
According to a 2018 study, GHK, a technical name for Copper Peptides, “is a safe, inexpensive, extensively studied compound that has a wealth of positive and health-promoting effects in many tissues and systems”. They point out that it is often used in anti-aging, cosmetic products. It stimulates tissue repair by helping with blood vessel and nerve growth, it increases collagen and elastin, and supports the function of dermal fibroblasts. We think that it is well worth considering skincare products that include Copper Peptides; there is science to support its effectiveness and these products are not necessarily expensive.
To get more information, read our article: “Copper Peptides: Your Key to a Youthful Glow”
#77 Eat anti-aging foods: Sweet potatoes
According to Healthline.com, sweet potatoes are highly nutritious, containing Vitamins A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Copper and Potassium, to name but a few. They contain fibre, antioxidants and are good for your gut. They are said to help with vision and could enhance brain function. Incorporating sweet potatoes into your diet is not that hard – they can be eaten as fries or boiled and mashed – and, if eaten on a regular basis, can definitely improve your health, wellbeing and longevity.
#78 Buy a red light therapy panel
There have been thousands of studies conducted to research the benefits of red light therapy and what they have found is that regular use of red light therapy panels can help maintain a youthful appearance by stimulating collagen production, enhancing cellular repair, and reducing inflammation.
It boosts mitochondrial function, enhancing cellular energy and slowing aging, while also repairing sun damage and reducing age spots. You can either buy your own panel, they come in various sizes and price points, or you can use a red light therapy bed or sauna in a salon or a gym.
We think that this is a really good option for maintaining overall health and youthfulness, but it does require an investment of both money and time.
To get more information, read our article: “Glowing from Within: Exploring the Benefits of Red Light Therapy Panels”
#79 Choose Retinol products
Retinol is a very popular ingredient in skincare creams and lotions. Retinol offers many benefits that make it a popular skincare ingredient. It is a well-studied anti-aging ingredient, known for its ability to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. It helps even skin tone by stimulating cell turnover, which leads to brighter, smoother skin with increased collagen and elastin.
A big plus of retinol is that it is cost-effective, providing proven benefits that make it a worthwhile investment.
To get more information, read our article: “Can Retinol really reduce neck wrinkles – yes it can, backed by science!”
#80 Use Castor Oil on your skin
Castor oil is said to have all sorts of benefits for your skin and hair. It is a very thick oil and is best used at night. We recommend regular massage of the face and neck, and castor oil can be used as part of this process.
Given the amount of endocrine disrupting chemicals added to skincare, we would suggest always using a pure, natural oil when massaging your body. Castor oil is said to be rich in antioxidants and has apparently been used in different types of healing processes for centuries.
To get more information, read our article: “Nourish to Flourish: The Triple Treat of Castor Oil for Gorgeous Skin, Eyebrows, and Lashes”

#81 Don’t underestimate the power of thought
How we think about aging is very important – we can have a positive attitude which might involve expecting to live to reach a very old age, planning to stay healthy right into our 90s and developing a plan to live a life that is fun and interesting during our retirement.
Watching our thoughts is also important because, if you have a tendency to think angry, resentful, jealous or worrisome thoughts, you are contributing to raising your stress levels, which accelerates aging. Try going for a long walk to clear your head or using a meditation app. Do keep a close eye on your repetitive thoughts as they make a difference!
To get more information, read our article: “The Mind-Body Connection: How Your Thoughts Can Reverse Aging”
#82 Eat anti-aging foods: Cruciferous vegetables
These include broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower & turnips. They contain all sorts of vitamins and micronutrients that can have multiple health benefits.
One of our favourites and a vegetable we believe to be very underrated is cabbage. It is a really great ingredient in a salad in place of lettuce; you simply cut it in quarters and use a potato peeler to cut shreds from the cabbage leave.
Cabbage contains very high amounts of Vitamin K and Vitamin C. There are lots of ways to include cruciferous vegetables in your diet – broccoli is also very nice in a salad with cheese and dressing. We would really encourage you to come up with creative recipes to allow you to include cruciferous vegetables in your diet!
#83 Have regular sex
According to MedicalNewsToday, during sex we produce a hormone called Oxytocin, which has all sorts of benefits including helping with depression, anxiety and intestinal issues. It is also said to contribute to relaxation, trust and mental stability, and increase personality traits such as warmth trust and openness.
If you are in a committed relationship, it is worth taking steps to increase intimacy and prioritise regular sex. If you’re not in a relationship, it still might be worth thinking about connecting with partners for casual encounters.
And masturbation is a good option for all women as it can help keep your cervix healthy, it promotes the release of feel-good hormones and can aid sleep.
To get more information, read our article: “How Regular Sex and Orgasms Can Keep You Looking and Feeling Younger”
#84 Boost your collagen
There are many ways to increase the production of collagen in your skin that are backed by science. Applying Vitamin C serum, using a retinoid cream like Tretinoin or using a cream that includes Retinol, applying Hyaluronic acid to your skin, taking collagen powder or collagen supplements, and using red light therapy.
These techniques vary in price and effort level required; Vitamin C serum is quite inexpensive and all you have to do is apply it once a day, whereas red light therapy involves either buying a mask or a red light panel, which can be expensive, and then you need to use the device on a regular basis.
We think that these are all good methods but we are particularly interested in red light therapy, especially the panels, because these have been shown to have all sorts of health benefits, not just improvements in collagen.

#85 Include Rosehip Oil in your beauty routine
According to Healthline.com, using Rosehip Oil has several benefits for your skin, including being rich in Vitamin A, which boosts collagen and brightens the skin by increasing cell turnover. It also contains Vitamin E, which can help repair sun damage.
This is a relatively inexpensive product, and it is a nice oil to use on your skin as it is not too thick and is easy to massage in. We would encourage you to build facial massage into your routine and this would be the perfect oil to use.
To get more information, read our article: “Rejuvenate Your Skin with Rosehip Oil: A Natural Elixir for Beauty”
#86 Exfoliate your body
Your skin is always going to look healthier and more youthful when exfoliated and, if done on a regular, long-term basis, it can help boost the collagen content of your skin. Exfoliating your arms and legs when the seasons transition from Spring to summer is a must because a lot of dead skin cells can build up over the winter.
When we start to wear our summer clothes, we want to make sure our skin is glowing. It’s also important if you are going to use any kind of self-tanning lotion because the tan will look darker in areas with more dead skin cells, like knees and elbows.
To get more information, read our article: “The Secret to Healthy, Youthful Skin: The Benefits of Exfoliation”
#87 Expose your body to the cold
Cold showers and cold plunges have gotten a lot of press in recent years as the teachings of Wim Hoff have become popular. There does seem to be evidence of cold showers having benefits including a boosted immune function, improved circulation and reduced stress.
There is also a suggestion that regular cold showering can speed up your metabolism and help you lose weight. The best way to approach this is to have your normal warm shower but finish off with a 30 second cold shower – or, if you are taking a quick shower to freshen up, just have a short, cold shower. It is unpleasant but you get used to it and it’s only a few seconds out of your day!
To get more information, read our article: “The Surprising Anti-Aging Benefits of Cold Exposure”
#88 Connect with Mother Gaia by “Earthing”
The idea behind earthing is that our bodies were designed to be in contact with the Earth – but this doesn’t happen anymore because we wear rubber soled shoes and live in houses made of concrete.
For those of you lucky enough to live in countries with a warm climate, you can earth by walking barefoot. For most of us, if we choose to earth on a regular basis, we would need to buy products, which include earthing mats and sheets, and earthing shoes. The sheets plug into a socket and connect to the earthing part of the electricity supply, and the shoes are made of material that allows the earthing charge to pass into our body when we walk on natural surfaces like grass or sand.
We think that earthing is well worth doing some research on; there seems to be studies to support the benefits but it has yet to be accepted into mainstream thinking.
To get more information, read our article: “Earthing: The Ultimate Anti-Aging Tool You’ve Been Missing Out On”
#89 Include resistance training in your exercise routine
Resistance training is highly beneficial for women in maintaining bone density because it applies stress to the bones, which stimulates the bone-forming cells to increase bone mass, helping prevent conditions like osteoporosis.
Building and maintaining muscle mass through resistance training helps to preserve physical strength and endurance, contributing to overall vitality. Exercise improves blood circulation, which enhances skin tone and promotes a healthy, youthful glow. It also helps in reducing stress, which we all know can contribute to aging.
Our tips for starting resistance training would be to begin with light weights and gradually increase the resistance as strength improves, to remember that regular, consistent workouts (2-3 times per week) are more effective than sporadic training, and to make sure that you are using proper technique to avoid injuries and maximise the training benefits.
To get more information, read our article: “Strong Bones, Stronger You: The Incredible Link Between Resistance Training and Bone Density”
#90 Base your diet on a balance of macronutrients
The macro diet focuses on counting and balancing macronutrients—protein, carbohydrates, and fats—rather than strictly counting calories. To do the diet you need to determine your own recommended intake by looking at your age, gender, weight, height and activity level. Then you would set goals for your daily intake of each macronutrient. This diet tends to focus on whole foods, especially when it comes to carbohydrates, but it is quite flexible in that you can eat a wide variety of foods.
Most of us overconsume carbs and don’t eat enough protein so even doing this diet for a little while can help us get a better understanding of the balance we need in our daily diet. The main benefit seems to be that your body is getting a better balance of nutrients and that you are eating less carbohydrates, which are typically the foods that cause us weight gain.
To get more information, read our article: “From Flab to Fab: Protein, The Nutrient You Need for Rapid Weight Loss”
- The weight in the above options is a pair of weights. 1KG Pair = 2 * 0.5KG Each; 2KG Pair = 2 * 1KG Each; 3KG Pair = 2 * 1.5KG Each; 4KG Pair = 2 * 2KG Each.
- Ideal for home workouts, walking, jogging, core training, cross training, aerobics, gym and many other fitness workouts.
- Made from a soft and elastic fabric, absorb moisture, breathable and comfortable, never hurt your skin.
#91 Find a hair style that suits you
There was a lot of talk recently about how hairstyles can affect what age other people perceive us to be. The example used was the cast of the “Golden Girls”, a show from the 80s about women ranging in ages from the mid-50s upwards. Photos of these women are contrasted with women from today like Jennifer Anniston and Nicole Kidman, and it is pointed out that the current style of mid-length, sleek hair is helping them to look much more youthful in their 50s than women did in previous generations.
There was a perception that once you reached 40 you should cut your hair short. Obviously, we don’t agree with that at all, and we would encourage you to keep some length in your hair and also make sure that it is nicely styled. Older hair often looks coarse and dry so use a good quality conditioner and a hair straightener to get that youthful look.
To get more information, read our article: “Top #5 Hair Tools & Hairstyles That Will Make You and Your Hair Look Younger”
#92 Investigate the power of Niacin
Niacin and Niacinamide are both forms of vitamin B3, but usually Niacin is taken as a supplement and Niacinamide is an ingredient in skincare products. Niacin is said to improve your skin by increasing blood flow in your body and reducing blood pressure. It is also thought to have anti-inflammatory properties.
Niacinamide applied topically to your skin is said to reduce hyperpigmentation and to boost collagen production. Basically, they are both Vitamin B3 but you would use them in different ways. If you are thinking of taking Vitamin B3 as a supplement, do your research as it can cause something called a “Niacin Flush”, which is where your face and body can become flushed and red for a few minutes.
Buying skincare products with Niacinamide included might be a better option as they are generally quite inexpensive and the benefits are backed by numerous studies.
To get more information, read our article: “Unlocking Youthful Radiance: The Power of Niacin and Niacinamide for Skin”
#93 Open up to the possibilities of Creatine
According to WebMD.com, Creatine has various benefits including helping with building lean muscle and having anti-aging qualities when applied to your skin. The most common use of Creatine is when doing high intensity training in the gym and, as we speak about in this article, we think all women over 50 should be doing resistance training to build their muscles.
Interestingly, it can also be mixed with your skin cream to potentially help your cells build collagen. There is a lot of evidence, which is not yet conclusive, to suggest that Creatine can help with other health conditions, including heart disease, and that it can even help maintain our cognitive abilities as we get older. You would need to do some of your own research if you want to incorporate Creatine into your life.
To get more information, read our article: “Harnessing the Power of Creatine for Youthful Skin, Cognitive Power and Vitality”
#94 Read up on Methylene Blue
Methylene blue is a compound traditionally used as a dye and for treating certain medical conditions, such as urinary tract infections. In recent years, interest in its potential anti-aging and general health properties has grown. Some people now take it orally to help with overall health, and others use it in skincare products. Some studies have shown that Methylene Blue can help with cognitive decline and skin aging.
If you are going to use Methylene Blue, you would need to do your own research and you would want to buy a high-grade, medical-quality product.
To get more information, read our article: “Could Methylene Blue, a common dye, be more effective for skin rejuvenation than Tretinoin?”
#95 Talk to your doctor about Testosterone
Testosterone can be prescribed by your doctor as part of Hormone Replacement Treatments (HRT). Initially, it was prescribed for libido and it is generally effective for helping older women to have more interest in sex and to enjoy it more.
However, studies are showing the effects of testosterone therapy for women go way beyond sex and it has been linked to improvements in sleep, concentration, memory and mood, with reduced anxiety. If you are taking HRT or considering taking it, you can talk to your doctor about whether trying Testosterone would be a good idea for you.

Natural Hair Growth Formula: this handmade rice water spray with fermented Aloe Vera and rice water for hair growth and conditioning is free from artificial chemicals. Enriched with bio oil and essential hair growth oil in spray, acting as a revitalizing hair serum for healthier strands.
#96 Use Rice Water on your hair
According to MedicalNewsToday, rice water contains amino acids, B vitamins, vitamin E, minerals and antioxidants. Stories from China suggest that women in ancient times used rice water and their hair did not go grey until they were very old.
The benefits of rice water for your hair are not yet proven scientifically but there is a lot of anecdotal evidence to support it making your hair smoother and stronger, helping it to grow and look shiny. You can make your own rice water or you can buy it – either way, it is quite inexpensive and worth trying out!
To get more information, read our article: “Rice Water: The Ultimate Beauty Booster for Your Skin and Hair”
#97 Eat anti-aging foods: Avocado
A 2022 study has shown that Avocados can increase skin elasticity when consumed on a regular basis. Avocados are considered a super food because they contain healthy fats and a lot of key nutrients.
They are also very easy to include in your diet as you can spread them on toast or add them to your salad. They are taste neutral so you can add a dressing or some mayonnaise to give it some flavour. If you can afford them, they are a must have on your weekly shopping list!
To get more information, read our article: “Our top 5 foods anti-aging foods”
#98 Take supplements: Magnesium supplements
According to Healthline.com, Magnesium helps with a lot of bodily functions and can help heart health. It is well known that taking Magnesium in the evening can help with a better sleep. Epsom Salts, which are generally dissolved in water when taking a bath, turn into Magnesium in the water and can then be absorbed into your body.
An Epsom Salt bath can be used for aching muscles or for general relaxation. We believe that taking Magnesium supplements helps to maintain youthfulness because Magnesium is needed by your body for optimum health, and it assists with sleep and relaxation, which are both essential for cell regeneration and repair.
To get more information, read our article: “Can Magnesium improve your skin and help you look younger?”
#99 Improve your posture
There are lots of ways to work on your posture, with yoga being the one that jumps to mind. As we get older our bodies stiffen up; we should be aiming to hold our shoulders back and be as flexible as possible. This doesn’t have to be a very time-consuming exercise – it could just be 10 minutes, three times a week working on your posture and overall body movement.
